At Actuate we see community relations as a means of helping area academic and social groups, familiarizing young people with the business world, and alerting prospective employees to the type of company we strive to be. Actuate gives substantially and continuously to Science Buddies, and Peninsula Habitat for Humanity. The company also gives to causes that present an urgent and compelling need.


Habitat for Humanity

Actuate has been a proud sponsor of a Habitat for Humanity house. In April, eight Actuate employees volunteered their time and dedication at the 440 Commercial Avenue site in South San Francisco. Since 2000, More than 117 volunteers have given over 900 hours to Habitat for Humanity. Actuate, since 2001, has donated $121,500 to build 3 different homes: one in Redwood City, Daly City and Brisbane.
