This year Actuate Corporation partnered with the San Mateo Fire Department in their annual Toys for Tots drive.
Besides fighting fires, saving lives and rescuing cats in trees the San Mateo Fire Department has an extra duty: participating in an annual toy drive during the holiday season. The “Firefighter’s Toys for Tots” program is an organization run by firefighters in San Mateo County. They have been collecting toys and gifts for needy children since 1974.
Actuate was able to donate three full boxes of toys to the charity. The donated toys will be sure to bring a smile to many children’s faces this holiday season.
