2010 Actuate Excellence Awards Program


The Actuate Excellence Awards Program was created to recognize innovation and impressive return on investment among Actuate customers and BIRT users.  Our customers consistently set new standards of excellence in their industries, and the Excellence Awards identify and honor those companies and individuals.  For a full description of abstracts click here.

BIRT Implementation Excellence
Presented to Actuate end user or OEM customers or BIRT users meeting high standards for excellence utilizing BIRT or the Actuate platform, qualified candidates will have delivered highly innovative, original or groundbreaking applications, or have demonstrated exceptional return on investment (ROI) in Actuate technology.  Examples include applications that reach a large user base, provide users with new and valuable information, or use leading-edge RIA technology for user interactivity and visualization.

Scorecard Excellence
Award-winning enterprises achieve breakthrough results in the financial, customer, operational and people perspectives of their business—but the key to achieving these results lies in total visibility of all business units and related underlying data. This category is open any Actuate customer currently using BIRT Performance Scorecard that demonstrates excellence in BIRT adoption by providing examples of how the BIRT platform is leveraged to support current performance management efforts.

Xenos Implementation Excellence
Organizations are faced with providing solutions at both the line-of-business level and increasingly at an enterprise scale for several key challenges in response to market trends. One key challenge is the ability to have information available where, when and how it is needed. This category is open to any Actuate customer who demonstrates excellence using Xenos Enterprise Server’s solutions to migrate, archive, load, present online, or deliver 1:1 customer communications.

Who is Eligible?
All licensed Actuate customers are eligible to submit an application nominating their organization for an excellence award in one or more categories. Eclipse BIRT users may submit an application for BIRT Implementation Excellence.

How to Enter

Selection Process
A panel of judges will review all qualifying entries to determine finalists and winners. Actuate may declare multiple winners per category or decline to declare a winner if the judges feel none of the entrants meet the standards for that category.

Notifications
Finalists will be notified by September 17, 2010. Winners will be notified by October 4, 2010.

Press and Media
Winners will be recognized in a press release and presented with their award concurrent with the Actuate Customer Day event in their area this fall.
