e.Learning Options from Actuate

Actuate offers several eLearning training opportunities to our customers, self paced study and live web classes. Through our training partner, Compuexcel, we provide comprehensive web-based training on our e.Report Designer application. These self paced classes allow the students to train on the designer at their own pace and to develop their own learning path.

For those who have completed our training curriculum and want to learn of our Best Practices standards for managing Actuate projects, developing reports or implementing our iServer, we offer three Best Practices classes over the web.

Self-paced Courses

When attending one of our instructor led training course is not a viable option, then our eLearning can meet your training needs. Actuate's eLearning courses are designed to take best advantage of the learning benefits multimedia provides. In our eLearning courses we provide full screen video, narration and animation and put them all together with an interface that was designed for ease of use. Students can either work through the material lesson by lesson or have the option of viewing lessons in any order they wish. In addition, users can also jump to a desired point in any lesson and view any lesson as many times as they wish, within their purchased time limit. Downloadable note files are available and students may email their Actuate-related questions to the site administrator.

Live Web Seminars

Our Best Practices classes cover best practices for new project managers, report developers and for those implementing the iServer. These classes are delivered as instructor led webinars, lasting 2-3 hours each. The classes are delivered quarterly, over the web. Attendees can take the classes from their desks.
